Twang Beer Salt Caliente ’86 clip strip honored with 3rd place award in annual hot and spicy showdown!
Each October, the Scovie Awards recognize the top fiery food products in the world. Named after the Scoville scale, a measurement of the spicy heat of a chile pepper, the competition is one of the most competitive blind tasted food competitions in the world. Hundreds of products are entered and undergo rigorous tastings and judging to receive top honors. This year, there were more than 700 entries.
In addition to naming winners in categories for foods, beverages, condiments and sauces, the Scovie Awards also recognize winners in marketing categories including product packaging, point of sale items, logos and labels. This year, Twang Partners was honored to receive a third place award in the marketing and advertising category for its Caliente ’86 Beer Salt clip strip. Judges for this category are seasoned professionals from the fields of marketing, advertising and web design. All entries were judged on the basis of design, creativity, visual impact, originality, quality and content.
